  • The final video will be output in the quicktime video format.
  • Upload quicktime video to your Youtube account and then send me the link to the video by email.

AUDIO

Your audio clip can be from a film, tv, music, spoken word poetry, recorded from your phone, etc. There are many sites online that allow free downloads of short audio clips. The following is a link is a collection of several of these sites.

THE PROCESS

STORYBOARD – The first step in creating an animation of any sort is storyboarding your keyframes. The storyboard is a sequence of drawn panels that depict the main sections of your animation, also called keyframes. What you want to think about here is what is going to be on the screen when and how it is going to both enter and exit your screen. The drawings don’t have to be great, just clear.

CREATE DIGITAL ASSETS – The artwork that is to be animated should be created in either Illustrator or Photoshop. Both programs have good integration with PPT, however Illustrator, being vector based allows for resolution independent graphics.

IMPORT ASSETS INTO PPT – This includes all graphic artwork as well as audio. After Effects supports almost any type of file format.

BEGIN ANIMATION – This, of course, is what we will be spending much of our time completing.

EXPORT FINAL MOVIE – Export your final movie to quicktime video using the h.246 codec.
